Prior to founding aletheia I had worked in the real estate industry for almost 20 years, both Client side and agency roles. In 2018, I honestly thought Proptech was going to save us and provide the connected approach we as an industry need. I was wrong.
I have been lucky to have worked with some extraordinary people, from right across the so-called value chain and been part of teams that have realised exceptional places. But today, feels very different from what has gone before – this moment does not feel cyclical in its timing, instead it is something far greater and deeper.
At aletheia, we have taken stock to revisit our placement in the market and decide the future impact we want to have. Our conclusion is simple. We want to enable truly better places, that are free from the constraints and fragmentation that is so inherently particular to real estate.
After 5 years of aletheia in its ‘beta’ version we have the evidence base – and data – to prove that our approach works. We are experts in joining the dots and untangling structural impediments to deliver greater asset performance and in so doing enable them to be able to become truly better places. From increased footfall in retail assets, to improved CRE IRRs, to transforming stranded assets into significant success stories; we know, and can prove, that our integrated and systemic process unlocks value drivers for every project we work on.
After a few months of spirited debate & wordsmithing, supported by our new Aletheia Advisory Board (announcement of which we will be making very soon); we are now positioned as a specialist real estate management consultancy.

At Aletheia, we believe the language we use to describe our roles in the built environment has a powerful influence on how we act, how we relate, and how we invest in the future of place. That’s why we choose to refer to those we work with not just by their job titles or commercial functions, but by the deeper roles they play in shaping, maintaining, and activating the value of property and place.
Read moreFor so long, real estate was a relatively simple, investable asset class that thrived best in conditions of certainty and stability. Today, the asset class, and the industry that serves it is facing transformation, the speed and scale of which it has never experienced.
Read moreThis industry has more than its fair share of siloed verticals. Nowhere is this more evident than with its professional body faced with the impossible task of succinctly summarising the careers landscape it represents or in the milieu of peer to peer engagement at MIPIM each year.
